MapTweet is a NodeJS app that displays a feed of tweets that are coming from a specific geographic region. The area the tweets come from is determined by the user panning and zooming across a map. The user can also filter the tweets the app gets by a keyword. The front end of the app uses a custom-styled version the the Google Maps API for the main UI. The UI has a blue circle that indicates to the user the area they are pulling tweets from. On the back end, we use Node JS to make AJAX calls to the Twitter API to pull tweets using keywords and locations from the map on the front end.
